Some of the shit I've been seeing on Facebook lately as far as wheeling and recoveries is scary. Using ball hitches and winch hooks as tow points,  just bad practices all over.

I got my my one tire installed and took her for a drive on Saturday, she's a lot of fun to drive, but there are some squeaks and noises I need to track down.

My plan had been to do 2 tires and I got the second one off but I couldn't fit 2 in my stupid car. I'll try to get them loaded into the Jeep this weekend and mounted,

Legend has it there's a Youtube video out of Australia (I think) where someone tried to use a ball hitch as a strap point and the ball ended up breaking free, going through the windshield of the disabled vehicle and obliterating that guy's entire face and head.

Yeah. I was pretty sure it was real.  I saw it way back when I got the Jeep in 2011.  Holy shit.  I've had a Jeep for nearly 7 years.  Where did that time go?!?!?

@HEAVYMETAL Did you think I was gonna be one of those guys who got tired of his Jeep after a couple of years???

No.

I can see it in a person's eye initially. You weren't one.

Anyone interested in a last minute wheelin trip tomorrow, Sun 3/4 ? I've seen too many people this week and I have to get in the woods.

Had a fun ride yesterday. There's a bunch of fun trails in belleplain .

Just a word of caution. It is burn season. Be careful if you're going out in the woods.

Anybody do any good snow wheeling? Did a decent amount up this way Wednesday night. Lots of downed trees.

I drove to the mall in the peak of Wednesday's storm, does that count?
