After RTC is done, I'm planning on tearing into the jeep a bit and going in a slightly different direction.  Since Aug it's only been on the road once to drive to the trail, and otherwise has been parked.  Going to finish a lot of random bits that weren't done before and put the jeep on a diet.

Here's what I have now to go on:
Metalcloack 3.5" springs
Rear LCAs
Ten Factory front shafts

I'm on the waiting list for stickies now, going to make the switch to 39" krawlers sometime in Dec hopefully.  Planning on removing and selling the rear bumper and tire carrier.  Going with the Genright fender deletes as well.

Goal is to finish all this before Perry

Can't decide whether to polish it or leave it as-is before clear coat

Genright fender deletes are on in the front. Rear looks like it's going to be a pain - they're not following the stock pattern so I need to decide how I'd like to do it IMG_20170115_150808.jpg

Also think I know why the winch is dead - saw that the ground wire is broken.

Need to trim the rear, prep and install rear bumper next

New bumper placed on but not installed. FYI, it has 4 coats of satin clear here. Still a little concerned about coverage since I can't see if I missed any spots. I prepped it with acetone and cleaned the surface rust off by hand

Looks awesome. I really dig it.  Is there a provision for a hitch?  Also, I think it's time for a license plate relo....

Want me to talk to the boys about building that tire carrier for the slant back?

There's not a hitch, just two spots for d-rings (though I think I'll switch to soft shakles). License plate relocation is in the shed waiting to go on next, went with Ace.

I'd be curious  what they want to charge for a slant back

What does your tire/wheel combo weigh?

I'm not likely to use it for a spare. Part of me wants a receiver hitch there- could use it as a way to hook in different accessories

If the clear doesn't take well on the bumper it's getting sprayed chrome. I'll get an extra for @kobbs_77 fenders

Bumper is fully mounted up and I installed the evo bumper relocation bracket. The plug for the hole is somewhere, I think I stuck it in the basement.
