Tie Rod End Alignment Boots

7 posts in this topic

My Synergy tie rod has a lot of flop when turning and flexing. Anyone install correction boots? They're cheap enough to give them a shot, but I am looking for some feedback from anyone who might have used them before first.

I'm running them but I don't drive it enough to notice a difference. I'll ask the wife LOL. I do know that the metal part wasn't needed on mine. (Wouldn't fit)

They make a substantial difference, particularly with hydro.  I run the Ruff Stuff version they call the Cure.

Bump has heims.  We'll see if he can get them to have enough offset to work when he graduates to big boy axles.
