Cancelled because NJ sucks.

Busting out the maps and starting to choose a campsite. If you are coming, please post up so we can get a correctly sized site. We will be base camping this time at only one site.

Aoaa has a jeep jamboree the first weekend of August. It'll most likely be a cluster funk that weekend.

You still able to accommodate another person and rig?  Oh, and a dog, if permitted.

We're at site 32 on Old Mingle Rd, Friday to Sunday. Not sure on the site's setup, it could be drive in or might be similar to the site we had night 1 on the first trip where Phoenix set up his trailer.

I have calls until 3:30.  Will see if I can get free sooner.  I hope it's a drive-in site because I'm bringing my trailer.

I couldn't get a view of the site on Google Satellite. There's only a few sites that are trailer friendly. Most have a parking section and walk-in to the camping area. I tried to get the big site we had for Nascar's bachelor party but it was booked.

Where did you make your reservations?  I tried to reserve on-line but all I could find was Bald Eagle State Park.

I found a Word doc that lists all the campsites in BESF.  According to this doc, site 32 is OK for motorized camping.  The doc also identifies larger campsites; 32 is not a larger site.

You have to call the state forest office to reserve a site. I added you on my reservation.

I'm leaving in about an hour. I won't have phone service once there.

@bump @nascar

How I'm planning on getting to the site using a purple lizard map.

References to East, West, North, and South are based on the compass, not what PennDot may have assigned to the Route.

Get off PA 80 at exit 185

Head South on 477,

Turn R West on 880 to Intersection with 192 /445

Turn R West onto 192 /445

Turn L South onto 445

Turn L East onto 45

Turn R South onto Woodward Gap Road (first road  after Pine Creek Rd)

Follow Woodward Gap Road South / South East to Paddy Mtn Road (May also be called Rupp Hollow Rd)

Turn Right onto Paddy Mtn Road

Take first Left onto Cherry Run Road

Take Right fork off of Cherry Run Road and onto Old Mingle Road

Continue past Lick Hollow road on right and campsites 25 and 26 to campsite 32 on the left.

Have fun everyone. I wanted to go but my dad is still in town and I didn't feel right ditching him to go camping.

Nobody told me reptiles were necessary. What is a purple lizard map?

Purple Lizard is a map company.  They do detailed maps for those that travel a little off the beaten path
