5 wheel rotation

Recommended Posts

Yep. I thought I had a thread here on it. But, if you have a full size spare, add it into the rotation. Rotate all every 3,000 - 5,000 miles and you'll keep your spare from dry rotting and get more life out of your tires.

It's also easier since you don't need all four wheels off the ground.

I always go front to back. I don't like changing from side to side turning the direction on the belts. A long time ago a person told me that was a bad thing and you run a higher risk of a blow out. I dunno? It just stuck with me.

All depends on the tire spec. Some are unidirectional. Some are one way rotational.

I only rotated 4 of those tires. I had intended to do the spare, but the thing is so damn heavy to put up on the tire carrier I just left it on there.
